A day of celebration

On this beautiful day, I have been reflecting of this time last year as I was counting down the days to May. May 12 to be exact, until I was introduced to the date of May 5. May 5...a day of celebration for many, mostly known as Cinco de Mayo. But my May 5 is a different celebration. My May 5 is a day of many of blessings. My May 5 is my baby's birthday! This time last year, we were a simple family of 3. Heading to Parker's t-ball practices and games, doing last minute shopping for those special things that are needed to bring a baby home, and doing special things together as a family of 3 before our lives changed for the better. Every morning when we would wake up, Parker would tell me on the calendar what day it was and how many more days til Easton's arrival. I have never seen a big brother more excited. This year we are again doing a countdown, this time for Easton's birthday party. Another celebration! We are so excited - we are doing a monkey theme...cause he has been lovingly referred to as our chunky monkey since before he was born. Parker tells me all the time, how he loved that day that Easton was born. How he wishes he could go back to to that day and celebrate all over again. Well, with this wonderful video below we can go back and relive that day all over again. I truly cannot believe he will be a year old next month. It does not seem possible, it just seems like yesterday we were waiting for him to arrive and now we are getting ready to celebrate the big number ONE! I cannot begin to thank God for all of his many blessings to our little family of 4. Our family is complete. To view the video of Easton's special day.
