Super Bowl Sunday! A day to eat really great food and spend it with some really great friends...and oh yeah, watch a football game and half time show! This year we hosted our very first super bowl party at our house and invited over our really great friends The Burkes! We munched on BBQ pork sliders, twice baked potatoes, corn on the cob, spinach dip with bugels, cheese ball and crackers, southwestern dip and chips and of course for dessert, brownie fruit pizza!  I don't think Sharona and I watched any of the game until the last quarter, but we did check out the half time show, which personally I think was the best in many years! Of course, I love all of the black eyed peas songs and i think the dancing was fantastic!!! It was great time as always with the Burkes!

Funny Story about that yummy looking brownie fruit pizza...sharona had put the brownie in the oven. We checked it a couple of times and thought it needed just a few more minutes. We waited for it to cool and then we decorated it with all that yummy goodness and couldn't wait to cut into it. However, when we went to cut into it...it was hard as a rock. We let the brownie burn! ha! but the toppings were great! hehe!
