On March 2, 2011, we attended a birthday party for Dr. Seuss at UVA-Wise! The kids had so much fun and so did I. We attended the party with several of his little friends from school and his cousin, Katie Bes. The kids were given these cute little homemade bags for their goodies when they registered for the party as well as a number for door prizes. Parker chose batman and Easton got a sesame street bag. The students performed a little skit and the kids got to enjoy games, birthday cake, seuss juice and of course, green eggs and ham (however, we didn't partake in the green eggs and ham!) Parker won all kinds of little trinket toys while playing games and right before we left his number was called and he got a Cat in the Hat hat. Parker and Easton had their picture taken with the Cat in the Hat...and Easton LOVED him! We are already looking so forward to next year's party!!!
